About this site
What this site is
Harga Minyak shows the weekly fuel prices in Malaysia (RON95, RON97, diesel and BUDI95), the change since last week and the history since 2017, in Malay and English.
It is an independent website. It is not a government portal, and it is not run or endorsed by the Government of Malaysia or the Ministry of Finance.
Where the figures come from
The prices are announced by the Ministry of Finance each week. This site takes them from the open dataset on data.gov.my, licensed CC BY 4.0, and credits data.gov.my and the Ministry of Finance on every page.
How it is updated
Prices are announced on Wednesdays for the week starting Thursday, and this site is updated around then. A new price may first appear marked as announced, awaiting confirmation from data.gov.my, and is checked against the dataset afterwards. We do not promise a particular time, and a page can be briefly behind. If the exact price matters, check the official Ministry of Finance announcement and the pump.
